Promotion/Contest! 8/12/09 - 08/19/09

Contest:

So we have put together this contest for a few reasons. One to give back… we have gotten so many referrals over the last few months and we really would love to do something for someone else. Another reason would be to offer our services to someone that maybe really needs a coordinator but just can’t afford it. So here is goes!!!!

Send us your engagement story along with a photo of you and your fiancé, include why you think you deserve to win this opportunity. The more creative and informative the better! Remember anyone can nominate the bride or groom – it doesn’t have to be the bride or groom them selves.
With each submission please provide the following info:
1) Wedding Date
2) Location
3) Names of Bride and Groom

The Goods:

The 1st place winner will receive 1 free day of coordination from tinamolina events. This will include a head coordinator and an assistant for the day of (8hrs) additional hours can be purchased for an additional $30/hr.

Prize Valued at $350

Included in our day of package is the following:

Day of Coordination
* Initial consultation with the bride and groom
* Ongoing consultation and advice as required
* Review vendor contracts
* Conduct final confirmations with all contracted vendors
* Create and distribute event itinerary and set up outline for vendors and wedding party
* Collect all items for the ceremony prior to wedding day (guest book, menu, seating cards, favors, Etc)
* Attend and oversee the rehearsal (up to 2 hours)
* Greet vendors and setup of ceremony and reception
* Distribute bouquets, corsages, etc to wedding party
* Line up wedding party and cue ceremony
* Provide "The Bridal Emergency Kit" with any last-minute items you may need
* Coordinate all vendors (DJ, photographer, caterer, etc)
* Manage ceremony decoration and setup
* Ensure best man/maid of honor have rings
* Retain marriage license for Officiant
* Confirm VIP seating has been observed for family members
* Greet guests arriving late
* Co-ordinate the collection of gifts received on the wedding day
* Manage reception room decoration and setup
* Coordinate the transfer of flowers, security of gifts, guest book, etc. at reception
* Confirm the correct setup of table layout and guest counts per table and all décor and floral
* Arrange favors at place setting
* Arrange place cards
* Light Candles
* Coordinate time line with catering manager
* Coordinate with DJ timeline of all major events
* Cue Bride and Groom for first dance, cake cuing, bouquet toss, toasts, and bridal dance
* Intercept any possible problems
* Distribute final payments/gratuities as needed to vendors
* Arrange for transportation of gifts with designated persons

The not so fun stipulations:
1) Wedding must take place within the next 6 months
2) Wedding must be within 20 miles of zip 91343 – if not you can still win but a $50 travel fee will apply.
3) Unfortunatly cannot be a bride already negotiating with tinamolina events or has a current contract.
Contest Ends 08/19/09 12am pacific - Winners will be announced on or before 08/24/09.
There will be 1st - 3rd place winners!
